When I was thinking what to tell you about in this week’s fabulous MyComps, I actually didn’t have to try that hard – because this week’s Holiday Section is one of the best I’ve ever seen!

Pack your bags you’re off to see Santa

Explore glorious Chile on a two-week trip

Chile is in South America occupying a long, narrow coastal strip between the Andes mountains to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the west.

It is famed for its Central Valley, a region of picturesque vineyards, tumbling portside towns and cultured cities.

So for a holiday with a bit of a difference, this is certainly the place to visit, and luckily I can help you out with that.

The prize starts with flights to Santiago, you will then be taken to your hotel to begin your voyage of discovery.

First on the agenda is of course Santiago, where you will be able to visit Cerro San Cristóbal which gives fantastic views of this great city, or what about Plaza de Armas, where there is always lots to see and do.

Your next port of call is Valparaiso an atmospheric port town where brightly painted houses cling to the cliffs and a bohemian café scene harks back to the romanticism of the 1920s.

Your final destination is the Colchagua Valley which is famous for the fine wines that are produced in the vineyards nestled in its rolling hills.

It sounds like a really interesting holiday and a chance to learn about some places that may otherwise have remained a mystery.
