If you fancy a family holiday with a difference this year then I may be able to help you out.

Futuroscope is a leisure park in France situated 10 kilometres north of Poitiers. The park is based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques. It has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world – so you are guaranteed some fun.

One of the attractions you can expect to see is, Arthur the 4D Adventure, where you can climb onto your flying ladybuggy and join Arthur in a hair-raising race against time, whizzing around the fairy-tale world of the Minimoys – sounds good to me.

Or if it’s the shows that you have a soft spot for, the main attraction is The Blue Note Mystery, which promises a blend of giant images on water screens, special effects, lasers, jets of flame and light that end the day in a glorious extravaganza.

And the good news about this prize, is that you don’t have to worry about anything as it is all taken care of, ferry travel, two nights bed and breakfast, evening meals and tickets to the park and for The Blue Note Mystery are all included.

Win a five-star break in the Tuscan Hills

Now as a complete contrast to the above mentioned competition, how would you like to win a romantic five-star break in the Tuscan Hills?

The prize, which includes flights and breakfast, is for two-nights at the Villa San Michele which is a really special place.  It was previously a 15th century monastery and is said to have been built by Michelangelo, you will also be able to enjoy unspoilt views of Florence and the Tuscan Hills.

If you would like a bit of activity to keep you busy on your break, don’t worry because thee is a swimming pool, small gymnasium and for the really adventurous the chance to hire mountain bikes.

And of course there is plenty for you to explore in the surrounding areas, including the historic city of Florence which is famed for its history, art and architecture – well it certainly sounds like this break has got something for everyone.

Escape to Normandy this summer

For a quick getaway France is the ideal place because it’s not too far away and of course you still get the impression that you’ve traveled far and wide for your perfect holiday.

Your destination is Deauville which has a racecourse, harbour, and hosts an international film festival. Deauville is regarded as the "queen of the Norman beaches" and one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in all of France – and you can win a trip there.

The prize, which also includes travel, is for two nights at Les Manoirs de Tourgéville, which is very special indeed.  It is home to a 50 seater cinema, an indoor swimming pool and tennis court and a recently relaunched restaurant, offering guests the chance to relax and unwind in stunning surroundings this summer – the ideal place to unwind if you ask me.
