Now for those of you who made a New Year’s resolution to be fitter in 2012, I hope you are still keeping it. 

I really must admire one of my colleagues who was at the gym at 6:30 this morning, despite having to scrape the ice off her car to get there first  – now that’s dedication for you!

If you fancy having a look at our  Sport's Section you will find prizes to win a place in this year’s London Marathon – you better start training now, or if that seems a little too energetic, how do you fancy a golfing break for four people – now this sounds much more appealing to me, if I won maybe I could watch from the clubhouse.

Monthly prize draw winners

Many thanks to everyone who sent in entries for our monthly prize draw competition.  The first prize winner, who will receive 100 second class stamps, is Patricia Starkey, congratulations Patricia the prize will be with you shortly.

If you would like to send us a competition for the February prize draw, please do, we want you to send us any unique or unusual competitions that we haven’t got or that have not yet been published in any of our titles.

We welcome comps from specialist and hobbyist magazines – and the more obscure the better!

These can be from in-store entry forms, on packaging, leaflets, magazines, web entries – in fact anywhere you can find a comp we haven’t got.

And for EVERY entry we receive (even if we already have the comp), you will receive one entry into our draw, for comps that get used in one of our titles you will receive TWO entries.

And for your trouble, if you are one of lucky winners at the end of the month, you will receive one of the following prizes:

First prize will receive 100 second class stamps

Four x runner-up prizes of 24 second class stamps

10 prizes of 12 second class stamps

You are only eligible to win one prize per month

If it’s an entry form make sure you make a note on the comp as to where you picked it up from.

Please ensure you submit the terms and conditions of the competition.

Please ensure the comp closes a minimum of one week AFTER the date you post it.
